About Us

We are a fully functional training centre believing in moving and feeding your body well to help you live your longest, happiest and healthiest life.

Functional training refers to movements that mimic real life activities such as bending, twisting, lifting, loading, pushing, pulling and squatting. A functional workout typically uses multi joint movement to complete squats, lunges and other compound exercises. A functional workout offers many physical benefits that will prove to make regular activities outside the gym easier and more comfortable to perform.

Functional training works to keep your body working efficiently and to its maximum potential which leads to improved body composition, flexibility and increased strength.

We believe in creating an environment for all levels of ability. Movements can be modified for those with injury or limited range of motion. It is hoped that everyone who walks into our space leaves feeling better than they did before.

8 Week Challenge

Our Challenges begin with a nutrition seminar held at Allied with Brady Schulz from Healthy Lifestyles Australia presenting the Nutrition plans and answering any questions you may have before we begin our 8 weeks.

At this time we will also do your weigh in, on Tanita scales to measure your Body Fat, Muscle Mass and Hydration, this will be redone at week four and again in week eight. You will also have your measurements taken.

Your Goals may be to drop weight, increase muscle mass, strength and or fitness and we can help you with all of these goals. One night a week there will be a group challenge night and then you are to train from the Allied Fitness Timetable and take as many classes as you need to hit your goals.

We believe in feeding your body well, training for longevity and enjoying the process. Our Challenges are held twice a year at the end of January and then again in October.

Classes

Strength Surge is a 20-minute session that focuses on skill development, strength techniques, and functional strength movements. Participants will engage in targeted exercises designed to build muscle and improve form, utilising a combination of bodyweight, movements, dumbbells, or barbells. Including lifts such as squats, deadlifts, and presses allows for effective strength building, while incorporating mobility work enhances range of motion and technique. This quick yet impactful session prioritizes efficiency and quality over quantity, ensuring participants gain strength and fitness in a condensed timeframe. Perfect for those looking to maximise results in a short amount of time. Strength Surge delivers an effective and rewarding workout experience.

Booty, Core and Stretch is a 20-minute session that takes a slower-paced yet highly effective approach to strengthening and toning. This class focuses on targeted exercises using booty bands to engage the glutes and core muscles, improving stability and support. Participants will enjoy a blend of resistance training and stretching, ensuring that they build body strength while also enhancing flexibility and mobility. The slower tempo allows for better control and tequnique, maximising results within the short timeframe. Perfect for anyone looking to enhance their strength and core stability while enjoying an effective workout experience.

Bootcamp Saturday Morning is an exciting one-hour session that offers a fresh surprise every week! Each class incorporates a diverse range of training methods, including strength, metabolic conditioning, enduranc, gymnastics and cardio, ensuring a comprehensive workout experience. Participants can expect to tackle challenging and varied exercises that keep them engaged and motivated while pushing their fitness limits. This dynamic bootcamp is perfect for anyone looking to mix up their routine, enhance overall fitness, and enjoy a fun, community-focused atmosphere. Get ready to sweat and embrace the unexpeted every Saturday morning!

Boxfit is an energising fitness class that combines the art of boxing with a dynamic workout experience. Participants will use pads and gloves to practice various boxing techniques, enhancing their fitness and cardio levels while learning proper form and strategy. This class focuses on high-intensity workouts that not only improve strength and endurance but also promote coordination and agility. Boxfit is perfect for individuals of all fitness levels looking to unleash their inner fighter and enjoy a challenging yet effective workout. Metcon Madness is a high-energy hybrid workout designed to enhance endurance, strength and overal fitness. This dynamic class features functional movements and diverse workout formats, making it suitable for all fitness levels. Each session begins with a comprehensive warm-up to prepare the body and improve mobility, followed by a mix of cardio, gymnastics skills and weightlifting exercises tailored for metabolic conditioning. Participants can expect new challenges each ession to keep workouts engaging, training alongisde fellow fitness enthusiasts in a motivating and supportive environment. Whether the goal is to boost endurance or refine lifting techniques, Metcon Madness delivers a comprehensive fitness experience.

Strength Power Performance is a 40-minute strength class focussed on building mobility, improving technique and developing lifting skills. This class incorporates a variety of equipment including barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells and bodyweight exercises, to enhance both isolated and whole-body strength. Participants will work on functional strength movements, emphasising proper form and effective tecniques to maximise performance. Each session is designed to challenge individuals at all fitness levels, promoting progress in strength, power and overall athleticism.
